My passion for creating the Balancing the Badge to Make a Difference concept and writing a book began while working alongside peace officers and providing financial services to them. I quickly recognized the importance of Balancing the Badge to not only provide financial security for officers in retirement, but also for developing a purpose-driven retirement to keep retirees motivated, healthy, productive, and most importantly, happy in retirement.

As a Houston Police Lieutenant with over 36 years of experience and a financial advisor for over 21 years. I enjoy teaching financial planning and life planning courses to police officers, police cadets, non-classified employees, church members, and the general public.
